It's the last day of November already. Isn't that crazy?
Do you feel organized and ready for Christmas?
Or do you feel like me? :)
I think I'm going to go make some lists. That will help. That always helps.
I could be pretty close to done shopping for the boys. For whatever reason this year, they were fairly easy. The girls are a different story. Belle...not too bad. Hope she likes clothes. But Shelby. Wow. She's hard. Like 'what the heck am I going to do for you' hard. Come to think of it...nothing much is easy about a 12 year old girl. Insert eye roll here.
I still need a decent picture of the kids for the Christmas card this year.
I did go book shopping on ebay yesterday. And I scored. Merry Christmas to me.
Iz is going to have to wrap them though. Gotta draw the line somewhere.
As he was coming home from Tacoma yesterday, he stopped at a mall.
And called me to tell me just how much he hated shopping.
Isn't he sweet?
I took this opportunity to dangle the golden carrot in front of him. I said, (ever so sweetly)..."You could be done for me, you know."
Words that were pretty much like water to a man in the desert.
"HOW?!" he says.
"Well, you know...there's this lens I kinda have my eye on..."
He said it was a deal. I'm happy. And I'm pretty sure he's even happier to be done with me.
Speaking of coming home from Tacoma...
WAY TO GO LYNDEN BOYS! WOOHOO!!!
They beat Arch Bishop Murphy, and will be playing in the state championship game this Saturday against Prosser. Luke is so excited. What a very cool thing to get to experience your freshman year. :)
All right. I gotta run. There's a roast to put in the oven. There's lists to be made. There's a Sunday paper to be gone through. Football games to watch. My husband to beat in Fantasy Football World. My cold to nurse. That's right. I have a cold. Which means a cold sore is coming.
Oh, and I'm growing my hair out.
There. I said it.
Accountability, and all that. I figure if I tell you...I might really do it.
Did I tell you last time I tried to grow my hair out?
If I'd have stuck to it the last time...I'd have lush, long, flippin-it-over-my-shoulder-hair right now.
Ok, probably not. I don't need shampoo commercial hair...I just want to put it up in a ponytail again. I miss the ponytail.
