1. Horny Toad brand shirts make me laugh.
Where have I been?
It sounds so naughty. I think I like it.
2. This is delicious.
Oh. My. Word.
The chicken teriyaki and gyoza from Goji in Bellingham.
I heard angels singing. (Thanks for lunch Jenny...it was awesome!) :)
Not to be confused with me ordering chicken teriyaki and gyoza from Pho in Lynden.
I always get shrimp pad thai at Goji.
So this was going way out on a limb for me.
3. Belle can bake, sistah.
She up and decided to make sugar cookies.
And she did all the heart dots individually. Whoa.
(I should probably go check on the status of my tweezers.)
4. I Love watching the Red Raiders.
For clarification...the Northwestern Red Raiders. Sorry Bellingham. :(
And I guess technically I didn't learn this...I'm just reiterating it.
They had a nice win over Morningside last night. Luke had a great game! :) Most points he's scored yet...woohoo Luke!
Evidently I yell a lot while watching. There were comments and eye rolls.
Whatever.
5. Top Chef Seattle...you suck.
The wrong chef went home Wednesday night. Again.
And yes, I learned that yesterday. Because I fell asleep 5 minutes into the episode, and had to find out who went home on a message board yesterday.
Boo. Those 10pm shows are killing me.
6. Challenges can be fun. Really.
My fellow TC Design Team member Sesil Cratin and I both get the monthly Cocoa Daisy scrapbooking kit. This month we challenged each other to actually USE the kit.
As opposed to what I usually do with it.
Squeal when the box arrives. Stare at the goodies. Touch it all lovingly for awhile. Put it in my 'New Stuff' drawer.
Move it from the 'New Stuff' drawer to other drawers when the next month's kit arrives.
Repeat.
Oh, I was using little bits here and there. And the stamps would stay out on my desk for awhile. But not this month. This month I will be productive!
Check out the layout Sesil made on her blog...and the cool video that goes along with it.
I started a 6x10 minibook:
I have to admit. I have been doing some feather trash talking.
While I remain opposed to rainbow chicken feathers...I am LOVING this stamp. I even busted out my embossing stuff. Go me.
(I also get the stamp subscription...such a fun extra! And this was my first time ordering an add-on. They had me at the name...Mr. Darcy.)
Ok. Have yourself a lovely weekend!
Luke...love you...and loved watching you last night. Great job! Now go study.
