Isn't this cute? And then I looked at it again, and thought...poor dog. The other 364 days of the year he's a LOSER. He looks so happy too.
Speaking of loser dogs...(spoiler alert if you don't know the results of the Westminster Kennel Club Best in Show.....and if that really, really matters to you.)
Meet Swagger, the Old English Sheepdog.
Swagger got robbed. :(
He got reserve Grand Champion, which is good.
But I was bummed. He was my favorite, and he lost to an Affenpinscher named Banana Joe.
Seriously.
Meet Banana Joe.
I realize he's probably perfect in the dog world. Somehow. And Affenpinscher girls are drooling all over themselves right now.
His handler threw him up in the air a little when he won. And you can't do that with a Sheepdog, I guess.
I'm so sorry Swagger.
If I were the judge (which I am like, so, TOTALLY qualified to be because I watch the Show EVERY year)...I would have picked the Sheepdog.
Then the Ruffled Terrier. And then the Hound.
Banana Joe.
Pffft.
In other news.
Things I am excited to try:
1. weird chocolate.
You would not believe how good white chocolate and lemon is together. (I've had a teeny sample). You can't taste the pepper.
And bacon and chocolate.....is really disturbingly yummy. Like it's bacon. And chocolate. Together.
And it should be so wrong, but it's not.
2. This stuff which came in the mail yesterday:
I placed an order from Freckled Fawn and got these lovelies in the mail soon after.
Like really soon. They are great with shipping. And it was very reasonable. You know how sometimes you get gouged $5 or so for shipping little teeny light, flat things? Not with these guys. Shipping was less than $2.
3. These things which haven't come in the mail yet because I just ordered them yesterday.
So cute! And these:

4. These which I ordered and then downloaded in about 5 seconds.
.99 at Designer Digitals. They've been having a heck of a sale there lately. A new .99 item each day.
