1. Things heard since coming home:
"It's so cooooooooooooold!!"
"I have so much homework!"
"Woohoo! The laundry's done!" (That was me.)
2. Picture sorting. And editing. And ordering. And sorting again.
I am loving the Grand Canyon in black and white.
They have the coolest trees there...
Ok. So the recycling bin doesn't add to the overall effect...but you get it.
Lots of these.
You all know how much I love snakes.
Every time we'd drive by something like this (which was A LOT)...I would say, "I bet there's a snake out there." To which Iz would say something like, "One or two, dear."
I am happy to report I did not see one single little snake the whole visit.
It came very close though...when I was with the kids at the hotel (the fancy one in Scottsdale)...and we went into the Kid's Club to see about checking out a basketball for Ian. I saw 3 little terrarium thingys and immediately turned away.
I know what lives in there.
Belle goes right over and says, "Awwwwwww, it's a corn snake."
And then squealed really loud because the other one had a tarantula in it.
We never did find out what lived in number 3.
And that's just fine with me.
Seriously...what kind of fancy butt hotel puts critters in the shops??
4. A little baseball...
Love this one from the Mariner's game. It was taken before Belle's tongue turned electric red from her slushie...and Ian got kechup on his face from the hot dog.
I sat next to a guy from Montana who kept asking me what was going on.
Which is really funny considering how much I know about baseball.
I did know more than him though. He was talking to a friend on his phone, and I saw him check his ticket stub to tell the friend who was playing.
Dude.
Ok...going to pick up pictures at Costco for Project Life today.
Going to hit Starbucks with Mom. In honor of the first day of spring tomorrow...I am switching from hot chocolate to green tea lemonade. :)
Also on the agenda... find Ian some new baseball pants.
Happy Tuesday!
Did you do your bracket Luke? Who do you have winning???
