Or the grocery store...And you think, "I'm pretty sure we're out of ketchup?" So you grab one. Or two. Because there was that one time you ran out of ketchup, and it was tragic. Horrifically epic. Like wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Evidently I've been squirrelling ketchup away for fear of running out. I googled to see if that's a genuine phobia. It's not. You can have autodysomophobia...fear of a person with a vile odor. Or coprostasophobia...the fear of constipation. Or even geniophobia...the fear of chins. CHINS, people.
But there's no word for fear of running out of ketchup. Except maybe crazy.
In any case...it ain't happening any time soon. I found these scattered throughout the pantry. Of course it looks weird when they're all together. So today I'm going to spread them out again.
What do you buy every time you're at the store??
Happy Wednesday! Have a good day at work Luke...love you!!
1. There's no school today either. Seriously. A built in snow make up day that we didn't need. Ok. The kids are working on a Marvel Marathon (Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Captain America & Thor)...and then cleaning up the basement from the forts they made for the weekend.
We went to see this...I thought it was really good. Funny. Sarcastic funny...which I love. Best part? After the movie was all done...walking out to the car, when Ian said, "Hey Dad...Mom's your Pepper!" :)
And then we went to Menchie's where we all over-dosed on frozen yogurt and toppings. Best new flavor tried: Black cherry. Holy yum!
3. In other news...
Woohoo! He got a haircut!! Thank you SOOOO much Aunt Carrie! :)

We went to the cemetery yesterday. I high, HIGHLY recommend the 1:00 Festival of Flags at Green Acres cemetery today. I so hope the rain holds off. Remembering all those who have served and died for their country today.
We visited Dad...I always feel guilty. It seems you can have the best of intentions to visit more...and then it just doesn't happen.
Love this big old tree.
Oh. Such a bittersweet day. One of those days, that as an athlete, I know she will remember for the rest of her life. And not in a good way. :( It was just a bad day. Nothing seemed to go right. Her approach was off...blah blah blah. It really doesn't matter. What is so hard for me as her mom, is that my hope...my deepest prayer for her last Friday...was that she could finish wherever, and say 'I did my best'. That's the frustrating part. For whatever reasons, she threw 15 feet below that. That's the way it goes though. She finished 5th. And then didn't hear the announcers call for the awards on the podium. So I don't even have a picture of her with her medal. I do have this one though:
Love that she could still smile when all was said and done. I love you Shelby, and am so proud of you and your season!!
Enjoy your Monday & your family today. :) Luke, so glad you are having a great weekend at Grandpa & Grandma's! (and that you finally got a haircut.)
Eeks! Shelby throws at State today at 1:30. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated. I just want her to be happy, and to know she's done her best. :)
Project Life - Week 20:
This week had lots of extra pictures...with Districts, my birthday & Ski to Sea.
The top right picture is from Mother's Day...we went to Bob's for brunch. :) And I LOVE having a picture of Luke in Project Life again! So glad Iz could spend a few days with him. <3
This page starts the 'extra spreads'...
Lots of pictures this week...and not so much extra stuff.
Yeah, this time I didn't blur out any faces. Just pretend you don't see them, ok? I'm pretty sure it's no big deal. ;)
Belle with her good friend, Erin. Erin did the bike leg of the race...you can see the dirt spatters all over her! :)
A fun, busy, FILLED UP week! :)
One more thing...
An 8x10 chalkboard printable I did yesterday. Now to find the right frame. I don't know how to do the clickable thing for you to download it. If you'd like the jpg file for printing...just shoot me an email. :)
Happy Friday! Have fun at Grandpa & Grandma's Luke!! :)
This is a bracelet. Love the little birds...and then our initials. :)
And this is a necklace:
The kids initials with their birthstones. Love it!
Happy happy happy birthday to my oldest. Love and miss you Lucas! I cannot believe you are 19 and done with a year in college already.
Iz took this last week when he was visiting...and they went to see Iron Man 3. Luke...your sisters think that if you put on brown pants and a green shirt...and started saying 'zoinks!'...you could be a ringer for Shaggy. :)
Have a great day Luke! I know there are some birthday cards coming your way...don't forget to check your mail. ;) Can't wait to see you in August!! Love, love, love you!!!
1. my birthday. I had such a lovely day. Shopping in Mt. Vernon was a bust...I did find chocolates for a friend, shorts for Shelby, and a very cool climby/carpet/scratchy thing for the cats...but nothing for me. Iz & I had a great lunch...and then later we all went to Jalepenos for dinner. It's a little fuzzy...Belle took it. :) But I love it. Iz surprised me with gifts and roses. They smell like perfume. Such a nice day...
2. Speaking of Mt. Vernon... And Burlington, for that matter...they are under seige. By these things:
The tent caterpillar. Aww. Isn't it cute? No. NO NO NO! They are EVERYWHERE! Like thousands...MILLIONS. Clumps in the trees, on the branches, in the shrubs on the ground...you can't walk across the parking lot without seeing them squished everywhere. Sooooooo gross!!! Seriously hoping they stay down south. Shudder.
3. Jr. Ski to Sea.
Both Ian and Belle were on Jr. Ski to Sea teams this year...a first for both of them. It's a fun race with several legs...running, biking, 3 legged race, soccer & obstacle course.
Face blurring 101...I need it. Ian was on a fun team of great boys. Thanks Autum, for all your organizing! :) Ian ran the obstacle course portion of the race...he even made the Bellingham Herald online gallery! :) His cousin Madeline is the cute girl in the pink shirt. They totally crashed into each other at the finish line, while hopping in gunny sacks. Awesome. :)
Belle was on a team with some friends from Rangers (club soccer team). Belle did the soccer leg of the race...and they actually placed 2nd out of all the girls teams!! Woohoo Lickity Split! Great job!
Have a great Monday...going to send you some recipes soon Luke! You know how to make tacos, right???
