We went to the Mariner's game yesterday. Free tickets and lunch courtesy of the bank...yay!
It was a beautiful day...our seats were in the shade. Belle had cotton candy.
She's our sugar fiend...Ian passed. I had a little bit before my teeth started hurting
from all the sugar. Not Belle. Her tongue turned pink, then blue, then purple as she finished
the whole bag. Atta girl.
Long story short. The M's lost 8-1. They had committed 4 errors by the 4th inning.
We left after the 5th. (We never stay for a whole game...we have a thing about not being caught
in the mass exodus out of the stadium.)
But BEFORE the game....that's when the fun was had. (Don't ask Iz to confirm this.)
Here's what fun things caught my eye (and some went into my cart) at Ikea:
FEJKA. (You have to get into the spirit of things, and use your best Swedish accent for these names.)
Or...in English, fake potted plant.
Everyone in PinterestLand has been raving about these. And Joanna Gaines uses plants like these in all her
houses...so instead of a Jo Jo...I bought a faux Jo. Ba ha ha.
It's pretty small...and at $5.99, it's a buck or so more than this Dutch girl wanted to spend...but I bought one anyway.
I think I bought the one on the far left. Or the middle. I honestly can't remember.
Or, as I told Ian... Horshka Vorshka. (I couldn't remember the name, but I knew it started with H.
And, evidently I was channeling the Swedish Chef.)
This is a floor lamp with a cool gun metal gray finish. Iz picked this out for the living room area.
Good ole KALLAX:
This is going in my new scrap room. On the chalkboard wall, where it will stand out nicely.
Now to find some cute storage baskets that fit in the holes.
I'm sure they have those at Ikea as well...but I didn't have time to look.
Another favorite from PinterestLand. And the price has dropped. Woohoo!
I have the turquoise one in my scrap room, but I had to stop and admire Mr. Gray.
This was Isabelle's fault. ("Hey Mom, look at this pretty chair!")
Sooooo, Mariners vs. Ikea?
