ONE. We have guests...
Out at the new house.
Aren't they pretty? Neither Belle nor I know anything about horses, as evidenced by her
calling them with "Here horsie...here horsie horsie!" (It sort of worked, so I can't make too much
fun of her.) They're our neighbor Sandy's horses...so hopefully we'll get some Horse 101.
TWO. The project.
Now it's this:
Oooooh, I love how it turned out.
Along the way...not so much. In fact, I pretty much hated it until the last step.
But the finished product? LOVE it. (Ignore my messy garage in the background.)
It's a charcoal gray...I used chalk paint, and a sealer coat. And I sanded too.
I know you're not supposed to need to with chalk paint, but I did. It makes for baby butt
smoothness...and that's awesome. Especially when there are no actual baby butts to deal with.
THREE. Back from volleyball camp.
Belle and I were down south in the Lacey/Olympia area for the last two days at St. Martin's University.
She had volleyball camp there. While she sweated away in the gym, I took it upon myself to do some
They have a new Hobby Lobby, and it was amazing. Found all kinds of treasures.
In fact, now that I think about it...I'm pretty sure I bought something I already had and have packed away.
Good thing I saved my receipt.
I so wish I had a place to put this.
I did buy this little gem though...$15 half off! Joanna Gaines would be proud of me.
I'm going to use it in my room.
I also had fun at Marshall's and TJ Maxx. Come on...Captain America socks for $2?
I will wear them on Super Hero Day. (And every day should be Super Hero Day.)
She loves this saying. Has it on a t-shirt. So this little $9 pillow at Ross was a slam dunk.
Another busy day today. Another busy weekend. More 3 on 3 basketball for Ian.
An open house here. Affirmation Day Sunday for Shelby!
And next week is the Fair!
Happy Friday. Happy Weekend!
