We are back from down south (yay!) and...aside from losing his mind a little and slipping his leash in the waiting room
to go say hi to another (very non-impressed) dog...it went really well.
The vet did a thorough exam and does NOT think he tore his bicep tendon (great)...but has an idea of something else
it may be and wants to do more x-rays. So another visit. But at least progress.
In the mean time, his allergies are acting up. Poor boy.
In other news...
Belle scored a goal on a penalty kick yesterday at Blaine.
The Blaine football team tried to ice her and yelled and chanted...but she nailed it.
Way to go Belle! And way to go Lynden... 5-2 Lions, in one of the most physically dirty soccer games I've seen.
Boo on the other team, and boo on the ref who let the game get out of her control.
That's how kids get hurt.
(And p.s....to the girl on the other team who shoved our girl hard in the back while waiting for the throw in...
if you're going to shove somebody dirty in the back...best not to shove a state level wrestler. Just sayin'.)
And Shelby called me this afternoon (woohoo!) to tell me she did well on her IOC test at West Point. (Indoor Obstacle Course)
In fact, she finished fast enough to earn a tab/patch for her shorts.
She's so sweet...she wanted to put one on her shorts, and send one to me. Just because she knows I like stuff like that. :)
You GO girl. Cannot wait to see you next month!!
