No pictures. I was too embarrassed.
I cleaned out my pantry yesterday.
In my defense, the house we're moving from has quite a bit of storage.
And evidently I don't check what's been living in the back of my shelves.
Nor do I keep track of what I already have.
And I have a fetish for syrup and utensils.
I posted on Facebook, and I'm not alone in buying certain things over and over.
We ran out of ketchup once (gasp!) and I had to vow like Scarlet O'Hara clutching a nasty
turnip in Gone With the Wind that we'd "nevah go without ketchup agin!"
Hence the 5 big things of ketchup.
I can't really explain the 6 gigantic things of syrup.
Or the 6 boxes of plastic knives, forks and spoons from Costco.
As my friend Sara pointed out, that's over 2,000 utensils.
I could not only feed the soccer team breakfast...I could feed two regiments at West Point.
There's also the 10 boxes of spaghetti...
which only goes with the syrup if you are a die hard Elf fan.
Ian's favorite meal is tacos (if it can't be Panda Express). Which works great with the 5 boxes
of taco shells I found. Unexpired even.
Don't even get me started on the expired stuff.
Let's just say it became a game to see what was the oldest thing I could find.
Ok...off to Starbucks for fortification. And a puppaccino for the big guy.
He loves Starbucks. Who wouldn't love whip cream in a cup?
He looks a little rabid for a few seconds, but then he licks off every drop.
