We were waiting for Shelby near Grant turn around...and she snuck up behind us.
Evidently they are teaching ninja skills there too.
Hellos are just the best.
Pictures don't even begin to do the fall color justice. There are yellows, oranges and reds everywhere.
We got there Thursday...the day before Parent Weekend actually began.
So we got our Cadet Parent ID cards (highly recommend this parents!)...and now we can
go in the DoD line at the entrance gates. Woohoo!
We goofed around and took pictures...went shopping...and met up with Shelby after her classes.
Somebody bought himself a new sweatshirt.
Oooooh, the football game. We won't talk about the football game.
It was cold. It was windy. It was rainy. And we lost. The end.
We did get to sit right by Army's quarterback's mama. Nice lady.
It was over waaaay too quickly. And before you know it, it's time for goodbye again.
It just does not get any easier leaving this girl.
I know she'll be home soon for Christmas...but it is so sad to drive away from West Point
and get on a plane without her. :(
Usually I cry all the way to New Jersey (we fly out of Newark)...and then again when the plane takes off.
I have it down to a science, lol.
We love you Shelby!!!! Thank you for an amazing weekend!!
