Here's Belle making herself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
First time in 13 years!
Evidently peanut butter with jelly is ok.
Yes, puzzle pieces on the counter. I was working on this:
Such a fun one.
But seriously, who does this:
For the tiny little OCD streak I have, this was torture.
The box was missing a piece. And a CORNER?! I should write the company.
Compensation for my mental anguish.
Handsome dog in sunlight. You know, the yellow thing in the sky that never comes out.
I am so over all this rain. Ugh.
And not to be outdone by the dog....
I call this one 'Where the *#!! is my iPad?" It's like the remote.
I looked for a long time, people.
Ok. So this is for accountability.
I am planning a garden. A 60'x40' garden. Because 6' fencing comes in 100 ft. rolls and I am waging deer war.
They're adorable and all that...and we have at least 6 of them around.
They were literally playing king of the hill on our septic mound the other morning. Hopping on and off. So cute.
But. BUT...I don't want them eating my veggies.
I'm planting thyme, sage & some other herby stuff all around the outside perimeter because deer don't like those things.
And inside, there will be pumpkins, gourds, cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes (but not next to each other, I guess...
according to garden rules) carrots, onions, beans, sunflowers and some other stuff. Hopefully.
This is about half of my seed starts. Pumpkins and gourds, mostly. Some cucumber, coleus, & sunflowers too.
You should know I have never had any luck with seed starts.
I think I'm planting about 19 different kinds of pumpkins and gourds. :) We'll see if they come up.
I'm prepared if they do:
I'm such a nerd. I made a little garden journal.
So I can keep track of when I planted them, and what comes up.
I think that's about everything.
I'm meeting a friend for lunch today to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's birthday. :)
And Ian and I have a date for some Chinese food tonight.
